Vintage Scottish Highland Sterling Silver & Amethyst Thistle Brooch

This charming vintage Scottish Highland Sterling Silver brooch is a beautifully crafted piece, celebrating Scotland's rich heritage through its traditional thistle design and elegant silverwork.

At the centre of the brooch is a round faceted Amethyst, beautifully set to showcase its rich violet colour and natural sparkle. Surrounding the gemstone is an intricately detailed Scottish thistle design, the national emblem of Scotland, symbolising strength, resilience, and pride.

Encircling the thistle is a finely engine-turned sterling silver band, adding texture and a subtle reflective finish that enhances the brooch's timeless appeal. The combination of the polished silver, delicate engraving, and vibrant amethyst creates a beautifully balanced design that is both elegant and distinctive.

The reverse is fitted with a secure pin fastening and is stamped “STERLING SILVER” together with the maker's mark "WBS", confirming its silver purity and authentic vintage craftsmanship.
